• New power dynamics of professional swing speed
• Energized ball flight and rebound
• Extra precision for passive and offensive shots

Phased dynamics in the energy transfer between a ball and a rubber determines the rubber performance. Traditionally phased physical dynamics has been developed to produce the maximized spin and speed easily at lower swing speed. But the table tennis professionals can deliver solid contacts to the ball at higher swing speed. Their energy can be transferred more efficiently and precisely with the new dynamics, specially phased for the professional play. OMEGA V focused on the new dynamic mechanism for top professionals. Solid clicking, energy-charged repulse, and precise energy transfer allows the advantageous edge in small and big shots of the professional game. Experience the new dynamics and Win with us.

Reviews of XIOM Omega V Tour (26)

It’s just like the other reviews said: fast, with the control you need. It forgives small mistakes and has good spin. I use it mostly for smashing and blocking. It adapted well to both my backhand and forehand, though it’s more of a backhand rubber. You can do everything with it—topspins, flicks, chops.

The only thing I did notice is that it wears out a bit faster than other rubbers in the same price range, but it still maintains its grip, which is what matters most. Highly recommended. I hope they keep manufacturing it—otherwise, I’d have to look for alternatives like the Xiom Omega 8 Pro or some Chinese ones that haven’t really made it to the Americas yet.

I used Xiom Omega V Tour 2.0 black on the backhand for around 6 months on a Donic True Inner Carbon blade.
This is an excellent rubber with the following strong points:
- an extremely well-balanced between control, spin, speed, slightly in favor of the spin side.
- good catapult effect
- very durable
- reasonable price

I can only find a couple of small week points in my opinion:
- weight. It is a heavy rubber.
- catapult effect: this can be a positive or a negative, depending on personal taste.
While blocking/countering top-spins, it does reward active blocking and adjusting the angle of the bat.
When I first started using it, sometimes blocking passively resulted in the ball shooting off or going long beyond the table. It's easy enough to adjust to it though.
Touch play is still good considering it's a fairly fast rubber, with tensor (I believe).
Looping and opening against back spin is a pleasure.
I would definitely recommend it to any intermediate players.

I have this on both sides of Koki Niwa Wood. After reading the reviews I expected so much from this rubber. Unfortunately I didn't quite get what I hoped. The control is incredible but the spin is not. Usually I blame my lack of technique but I have seven different rackets and I can compare them with each other. For example G-1 has way more spin. I still like to play with Omega 5 Tour but in my opionion that 9.4 for spin is way too high + the durability is quite awful. The sponge was medium soft after 40 hours of training and the top sheet is pretty soft even when it's new. The throw angle is exactly what I hoped for and it is not spin sensitive. It is really safe to play with this rubber.

Love this rubber. I use this rubber for testing of my Tricky1 Blades custom handmade blades (made in the USA) and also use it for regular and tournament play.
