Xiom Omega V Euro, made with Dynamic Friction Technology is developed for the plastic ball.

Dynamic Friction rubber grabs the slippery plastic balls far more firm and solid at contact.
Control of your ball with Dynamic Friction is simply beyond your expectation.

As a consequence, it increases the spin rotation dramatically - at the same speed.

Thanks to the higher friction you can also catch the ball at the extreme angle, which is truly a professional advantage.

Unprecedented control and extreme angle shots.

Speed: 94
Spin: 97
Control: 67

Reviews Summary

✨ AI-generated summary of customer reviews.

Pros

  • The Xiom Omega V Europe rubber is praised for its control and spin, with users noting its ability to generate spin in drives with good speed. It's also described as being very durable, maintaining good performance even after several months of use.
  • This table tennis rubber is also appreciated for its insensitivity to incoming spin, making it ideal for blocking and receiving serves. Users have also noted its excellent performance in backhand loops and smashes, with one user describing it as one of the best backhand rubbers on the market.
  • Many users have praised the rubber's ability to impart topspin, making it great for looping from both backhand and forehand. It's also been described as having a good feel, with a higher throw and better control compared to other rubbers. The rubber's spin insensitivity and medium hardness also make it perfect for backhand flips, openers, and drives.

Cons

  • However, some users have expressed disappointment with the Xiom Omega V Europe rubber. One common complaint is that the rubber loses its spin and control over time, with some users observing a decrease in grip, particularly when trying to catch the ball at difficult times. Another issue raised is the rubber's inconsistency in spin and speed, with some users noting that it can sometimes produce great spin and speed, and other times produce none at all.
  • A few users have also criticized the rubber's performance in power looping, noting that it tends to dump in the net. Additionally, some users have found the rubber's serve/receive to be mediocre.
  • The rubber's price has also been a point of contention for some users, with a few noting that it does not offer good value for money. One user described it as 'horrible' for its price, noting that it went dead after just three months of use. Another user was disappointed with the rubber's performance right out of the package, describing the top sheet as stiff and the sponge as firm, with medium speed and spin but nothing special.

Reviews of XIOM Omega V Euro (25)

Blocks- great Drives - pretty good Counters - insanely good and insensitive to spin Looping - good Powerlooping - not good, tends to dump in the net and you have to brush then hit in the same stroke for power and spin. Serve/recieve - mediocre Opening - easy when brushing topsheet only. Overall, absolve average rubber for those who want a rubber to set up for a shot on the other side of the racket or counter for the win, counterlooping and topspinning fast and powerful are not good, but you can spin and counter, but you must choose.

This is my 2nd favorite backhand rubber just under EL-S. It produces a lot of spin and has a lot of control too.
Also if you are a beginner it will produce a good speed for your forehand so a beginner friendly rubber for sure.
It plays amazing backhand loops and smashes used with a Timo Boll ALC. Also best blocks i have ever done are with this rubber. One of the best backhand rubbers on the market for sure.

One of the best BH rubbers! Spin insensitive so backhand flick against heavy spins is easy. Medium hard sponge so rubber is consistent when flicking. Good speed and control, solid catapult, reasonable amounts of spin. Overall 8.5/10 . This rubber is safe bet, you can't go wrong with it. Omega series is much much better choice than Vega in today's era.

I am use it backhand 2 mm sponge black color on YEO, very nice for blocking it produces crisp feeling and it is not sensitive to spin, 45 degrees sponge and it has firm top sheet so it doesn't have soft feel. For topspin game you must to brush the ball property and than can be a spin monster also speed is phenomenal, it have nonreactive sponge so it is very controllable over the table if you hit hard it will produce very spiny top spins with lot of speed. And it is durable also. For 35 euro in my country it is good value for money.
