Curl P4 is the latest produced rubber in the TSP Curl family. P4 is developed by former world class player and chopper Mr. Koji Matsushita and developers at TSP.
Curl P4 has similar characteristics to Curl P1 except that the sponge undercoat is even softer. P4 will stabilize at close to the table play for those players who are interested in short but heavy underpin short cut and offensive play. The best long pips rubbers can generate maximum underspin while cutting a top spin ball. The TSP Curl P4 is for active modern defenders and choppers.
Please note that TSP Curl P4 produces highly deceptive spins for your opponent. The rubber is not forgiving and requires expertise to master. Once harnessed, your opponent will respect and fear your return ball.
TSP Curl Series:
Five types of TSP long pips rubbers have been approved by ITTF. The redesigned Curl rubber sheets P4, P1R, and P3 Alpha R Curl rubbers have been produced to have the optimum level of playing characteristics of the original designs of the P1 and P3 Alpha Curl rubbers.

Hudge Controll. easy to play close to teable. Chopping away is so easy and produce heavy reversal. Soft and gripy pips - no problem with dead balls.
Best LP in spin manipulation. Opponents makes lots of mistakes and its main weapon of this excelent long pips. After trying on ALL/All+ blades I change to OFF and it's best choice. With slower blades ball lands on middle of the teable and then got smash. With fast blade you can place ball at the white line :)
This is truly a great lp. I use it for defending on Joola Chen Weixing. The OX version gives plenty of spin reversal and amazing control. An absolute classic for defending. Hitting loose balls is very easy. The rubber quality is great and lasts a long time. Has more grip than the Butterfly Feint Long 3 and more control. Fabulous rubber, if you're a defender looking for an lp this is indeed the best!
This long pips is very similiar to Feint Long 3, but with a bit more reversal, a bit less grip and the sponge is a bit more lively. It's a very active pips, no passive strokes allowed, spin sensitive is high but you can do every type of strokes, from punch shot, chop block on table etc... Tested in 1.0 black on a Koji Mastushita Blade, very good control and also good for attack some balls. You need time to understand grippy pips, but when you can master it, is a deadly weapon for a skilled defender. Very High quality pips Recommended!
The OX version:
1. Blocking produce a no spin ball
2. Control and Placement are more accurate than other OX rubber
3. The ball will drop more in the mid area of the table if you're a chopper away from the table
(Black, ~0.5mm Version):
Finally found the long pips I've always wanted.
This is a high control, great reversal, low deception long pip.
The deception depends on the stroke and distance it travels so it really depends on your opponents play style.
Reversal is great with a total overall feel that you're in charge setting the pace of the rally with each chop.
Control is out of this world. It truly is.
Not really suited for attacking per se, but to be honest, I need to practice attacking with long pips before I truly comment on that.
--Chop away, all day, best control--
