Handle of the blade is very comfortable. I sanded the head a little bit. It is an advantage for me that the Fh is faster than the Bh . I would like to control the defense play and this blade does this job very well. Same brands Hellfire pips is better than Tsp Curl for this blade but I trained lot of with Curl so I playing better with Curl (P-R1).

Maximum control paired with maximum cut and effect! The Firestarter takes the power for attacking shots and enables you to create more effect-rich attacks and a very accurate shot-game. Because of the wood's low speed, it is especially useful for players with fast pimple rubbers. In addition it is great for all players who have a hard time defending topspin balls. We recommend following two playing styles/systems: Blocking and spreading the balls close to the table defending far away from the table with pimples with sponge. The distinguished veneers were handpicked by Sebastian Sauer and Pascal Troeger. Since the wood was dried and stocked over extended periods of time, it keeps its playing abilities over long periods of time. After conducting many tests, both designers were able to use the new CBIF adherence. The CBIF adherence makes the forehand a bit faster and the veneer adherence makes the backhand a bit slower. The Firestarter is the most defensive blade from Sauer & Troeger. The exquisite veneers were specially selected so that you feel the maximum control of a table tennis blade. Due to the special CBIF gluing the forehand is a little bit faster than the backhand. This allows you to play the attacking strokes with the forehand with even more speed. Slow with very high control. Rather thin, slightly oversized average weight blade with hard outer veneers. Can be used for long pimple blocking without sponge or chopping with sponge. Due to its thinness it retains some flex so it's also good for generating spin and looping on the non pimple side with a fast rubber. The end result is a blade that doesn't excel in any one aspect but is a very versatile and secure defensive blade. I like it a lot and the price is reasonable.
