I still have trouble returning balls with a very high top spin because the balls I receive will definitely go off the table, while receiving backspin and sidespin balls can still be handled well by this long pimpled rubber from DHS, either with the cutting / blocking / pushing technique, and i can smash spin with backhand in this rubber. You might want to try the Indonesian pimpled rubber, JAHANAM, which comes in various varieties and colour. This rubber provides maximum control with a bouncy ball speed effect, a downward curve, and sometimes a sudden drop near the net. It also dampens and blocks balls with very high spin (top/side/back), and balls that are very slow but with a high backspin. Very good pips for play. And very poor quality. 6 months ... and pips break out.
Really good allround rubber. It favours a more controlled game with a lot of variations in speed rather than spin. Very easy to control the ball at any distance. Chopping is very easy but not very strong, counterattacks are possible with small spin variations. Deception is good, reversal is pretty low. The margin to perform knuckle balls is also high, it drives some of my opponents crazy. Someone once said to me that everytime he had to hit the ball he could clearly read the logo on the ball lol
I can understand why people love this rubber it truly is amazing. I have tried out acouple long pips and I felt the most uncomfortable playing with this one, it appears to be a rubber that you either hate fully or love fully.
