The Donic Original No. 1 Senso blade is distinguished by enormous acceleration, yet has great feel and relatively soft touch. Two layers of Premium Acryl-Carbon surround the inner ply. The Senso-Grip-Technology ensures a light weight and transfers the contact point to the top of the blade.

The very precise manufacture using first class materials - especially the Premium Carbon plies - produce an excellent result. The Original No. 1 Senso is in a class of its own.

Reviews of Donic Original No. 1 Senso (1)

Donic Ovtcharov No. 1 Senso with a new name. Reportedly designed by Dima before he moved to Butterfly, but I've never seen him play with this in tournaments. There is a 15-minute video on YouTube where Ovtcharov practices with this and talks about the blades's features. Inner carbon (acryl). 84g, 159,5 x 150 mm & 5.9 mm. Frequency 1378 Hz so this is Off-/Off. The hollow senso handle is thinner than usual, so dont buy it if you have big hands. Never tried DHS Hurricane Long 5 so I cant tell if this is a clone or if the top ply really is limba instead of ayous etc. I'm an intermediate player so I put 47.5 degree Andro Hexer Powergrip 2.1 mm on both sides. The combination feels perfect for my level. The racket is intended for semi-pros/pros and I believe the flexibility suits them even better with harder rubbers. Donic rank this as stiff but it feels pretty flexible. I will edit this review after I have played with the blade longer. First impression is that the control is incredible and the sweet spot is huge. Not particularly fast blade but the spin properties and especially good control compensate for that lack.
