Because open access ping-pong tables are often used for much more than just table tennis, the Urban table has been designed to withstand loads of up to 2,600 lbs. It's strong enough to cope with people climbing or jumping on it, or even using it for dancing, cycling, skateboarding, etc... The Urban table has undergone testing both in the laboratory and under real-life conditions to verify its resilience, for everyone's peace of mind.

Impact resistant

To make sure it can be enjoyed for many years to come without being compromised by any mistreatment, the Urban table is built using extremely hard-wearing materials, including galvanized steel structural elements and laminate panels.

Tamper-Proof Net
The Urban table's fixed net, secured in position by the two halves of the table top, can cope with considerable impacts. Its geometry complements the overall design of the table perfectly.

The Urban table requires no particular maintenance. However, if it shows signs of dirt, cleaning with water will remove most stains.

Excellent Bounce
With a 7mm-thick laminated resin playing surface, the Urban table offers an exceptional playing experience. The thicker the panel, the better the bounce. The Urban's table top is up there with most other table tops you'll find in table tennis clubs.

An extra-large frame holds the top securely in place
The frame is the metal structure used to hold the playing surface. The higher it is, the more level the surface stays over time. The Urban table frame is made from Aluzinc®, a corrosion-resistant steel/aluminium/zinc alloy recognised for its extreme durability. Measuring 70mm high, the generous frame of the Urban table offers unbeatable support.

Anti-Glare surface
You don't want glare from the sun to spoil your ping-pong game. The MATTOP finish dampens the intensity of the sun's rays, reducing glare ten times more than a table without this special coating.

Accessibility

Designed for wheelchair users
The Urban table has been designed to comply with the highest standards of accessibility for people with reduced mobility. It meets and exceeds the 14468 standard. To make sure the table is as ergonomic as possible, Cornilleau worked with Maxime Thomas, a para ping-pong player and four time Olympic medallist.

Safety

Ground anchoring optional
For maximum safety and to ensure that the Urban table stays securely in place, Cornilleau recommends using the screw-down kit provided to attach it to a hard surface such as concrete.

Four corner protectors
The Urban table is fitted with corner protectors to round off the corners and cushion any knocks against the table. Players will thank you for choosing a table fitted with these corner protectors, especially if they play a lot of Runaround.
