The Butterfly Nakama S6 Table Tennis Racket is constructed of 5 layers of wood. The all-wood composition of this table tennis blade offers a softer feel at impact as it will flex slightly and 'hold' the ball a bit longer than blades made with a reinforcing material such as carbon fiber. Sriver is an excellent all-around attacking rubber, good spin and even better speed. Sriver was the dominant rubber for more than 25 years. The speed and spin characteristics of Sriver are the benchmark for all other Butterfly rubbers sheets. A great first rubber for any level and any style of play.

FAQ: Can I replace this racket's rubber sheets?
This racket is assembled from the factory with strong glue and you can play with it right out of the box. Removing the rubber sheets to attach new ones is difficult and is not recommended. If you would like to order a racket with replaceable rubber sheets, please check out the Allround Pro Combos.

FAQ: Can I use recreational racket in competitions?
Most recreational table tennis rackets do not comply with official ITTF regulations - either because both rubber sheets are the same color or because the rubber isn't approved for competition.
