Dr. Neubauer Magical Touch
High speed and great control with Kiso Hinoki!
Dr. Neubauer Magical Touch comes with the original Japanese Kiso Hinoki wood as outer plies. Together with Limba and Ayous wood material, this provides formidable control and high accuracy for all active and passive shots.
Magical Touch has a natural wood composition (without carbon material) that will enchant you with a highly dynamic ball acceleration and an incredible feeling.
It is also a very interesting alternative for modern pips out or Anti-Spin players who produce a topspin or hitting game on one side and dangerous blocking on the other side.
Discover the magical feeling and high dynamics of Kiso Hinoki!

Reviews of Dr. Neubauer Magical Touch (2)
it might be similar but better overall- thinner,no balsa core,7 ply, perhaps more flexible and still reasonably soft
feeling. With that expectation I mounted Dr. Neubauer Dominance Spin Hard (Max) on both sides and the result was
--- underwhelming. At first I thought this was due to the rubbers, as they were quite hard, not tensioned, and didn't
have any catapult or dynamicism- kind of like some hard Chinese rubbers with no booster. Changed the rubber
to 2 T05fx, and all the parameters improved, but not as much as I'd hoped. So after about 10 sessions with the blade
my impressions are --- this blade is much stiffer than indicated and feels med hard but fairly stiff. While that is not
necessarily a problem, it is accompanied by a low/med rebound speed which makes it less responsive, even with the bouncy Tenergy rubbers. When looping it felt like the rubbers were doing the majority of the work with the blade adding little unless you put in greater effort than usual. Feeling, control and blocking were good.
So not a bad blade for close to table play, but I have many better 7 ply wood blades.
Blade simply fantastic!!!
The feeling it provides at the moment of hitting the ball is one of extreme absolute control over the ball and direction.
The investment is cheap and rewarding for a 7-ply blade.
The wood with a significant advanced finish. A detail that loses nothing, in terms of finish, compared to high-level competitor blades.
I believe I should keep this blade for a long time now.
