For the amount of cash you bring to the table, your years of experience, and your rather aggressive style, I'd get this BTY Iolite blade with BTY Bryce FX rubbers on both sides. Why the Iolite? It's one of BTY's top-notch (and expensive) blade with Arylate-Carbon technology--fast but controllable. Why the Bryce FX? Bryce is BTY's best rubber and the FX version is essentially Bryce on a softer sponge for more control. My reasoning in rubber selection is that you should get the most aggressive rubber that you think you can, and then, if needed, back down to the level where your sweet spot can be found. This could be an expensive proposition. But if one can afford it, why not..? |
