I really think it's down to personal preference what you use for forehand or backhand. I use red on forehand and black on backhand. I did read somewhere that they say red is faster than black, but I think that depends on the choice of rubber you use. Personally, I feel the black rubber tends to loose its sheen quicker and therefore its effectiveness. That's just my opinion. Anyone agree?
