As far as anticipating, at the lower levels I guess there are things you can look for. A lot of it will vary from player to player. Like, I may "look off" a couple of serves to keep people from reading my eyes. Good players can serve pretty much with any spin and any direction with very much the same motion. I don't think there's an anticipitory set that someone can give you that will do what you want it to.
