If its a long serve let it drop a bit then come over the top of it like a loop i suppose. I use a lifting action.
For short serves you have to use a cut under approach. Don't just hang your bat on the ball otherwise you have no chance. You must give it a little bit of juice. You could also try with short serves a half volley push. Dont hold the bat too tight when doing this.
