I like the double fish or 729 1* balls for training (multiball, robot, service practice), but I'd go with a 3* ball for games.

It doesn't have to be the $2 a ball nittaku though. DHS makes the olympic quality ball for a fraction of the cost. I think the donic balls from this site are the dhs balls restamped. They're better then the stiga, IMO.
