Generally, short pips are fast rubbers, better made to block and hit close to the table, but not generating very much effet. If this is your style, TSP Spectol is really a good choice, but you also have "speed glue like effect" short pips, which have a good control, but are although fast and very dynamic on active blocks : Donic Baxster F1-A, Tibhar Speedy Soft D-Tecs, Joola Tango Ultra...
