yeah dude hit flatly and through the ball in the direction and towards the spot you want it to go. Don't try to angle the racquet and brush over or anything (it'll go into the net more often than not) and just hit flatly through the ball. Try smacking on the top of the bounce and anytime anything is even a little over the net just smack it.
