This to me makes it a little more of a hitting than a looping blade. Not having played with dicon but having talked to those who have...If I had to make a choice for you I'd choose dicon.

But I'd decide based on how much feedback I liked. The glassfiber in the diablo makes it somewhat dampened. The head is small, but the glass makes pretty much the entire head the sweet spot, with a very consistent return no matter where you contact. Just don't whif!

The diablo is incredibly flexible for a 7ply composite. It's still a great looping blade, don't get me wrong.
