If you don't want the glue effect, I recommend you still prime the rubber with around 4 coats. Then let it air out overnight before you glue it on. Partly to keep the unglued feel, but also to let the rubber return to size so it fits your blade. I recommend you put on a fresh layer every 2wks to a month. But do it the day before you play unless you want a glue effect. |
