I have a Chinese table made by Hi-Qua sports. It's over 1" thick and it folds up and the frame is very sturdy. I got mine for around $700 no tax. I live in the same area as the Hi-Qua so I just picked it up. You can look at it on their site just google hi qua table tennis...
