Try the timo Boll spirit! I wen't from the pre-assembled BTFY blade to it with Tackifire and catapult. I JUST LOVE IT! I have not had to give up any of the control I had and the feel of this blade is great. I'm currently a 1800 level player and play a game similar to what you discribe, spinny lefthander ready to rally or end the point!
