I've used both, the blue one seems to create not quite as much tack as the red one. But they're pretty close, as far as I can tell. They'll both turn a normally pretty tacky rubber into something so sticky that it'll pick up a ball by itself (i.e., the ball will literally stick to the rubber). Unless you like that effect, they seem to work best on rubbers whose original level of tackiness is not so high.
