A while back, someone asked a question on how to defend topspin with penholder push.

I watched a video of the recent World Cup match between Wang Nan and Gao Jun.

In that game, Gao Jun showed some of best example of how to use the backhand push with a side spin to counter Wang Nan's topspin.
