Removing Glue (1)

| I've used speed glue three times on my new rubber, and its now stopped doming, so I've tried removing the glue by applying Acetone to the rubber with a brush,then wiping off with a towel, but it seems my sponge just gets wet, and none of the glue is coming off, or is it? Should I try lighter fuid instead? |
