What do people think about "preglueing"? By this I mean when you get new rubbers that you intend to speed glue, the first time you glue them you first put on one or two coats of regular glue, followed by the speed glue. After that you speed glue as normal. I read somewhere that Butterfly recommends this method for some reason but I don't remember why.

So, is this actually useful in real life? If so, why?
