I bought a small can of minwax clear polyurithane. I dip a rag in it lightly and put it on the blade as lightly as I can while still getting complete coverage. The racket should be barely damp when your done. When it dries, you shouldn't even be able to tell you did it. But that's sufficient to stop your splintering. I do apply the poly very thick on the outside edge of the blade (like under the tape) to toughen against clipping the table. |
