Using the backhand side of the penhold racket is actually very useful and a good idea. It takes lots of training to topspin the ball. Choose a speedy rubber if you like giving your opponent a nasty topspin slam. Choose an anti-spin long pipper or some sort of junk rubber if you want to increase your range and counter a ball with unpredictable spin.
