I'd say the opticon is a good choice. I think Chuan uses that one. I think Donic has good value for the price and doesn't have any "dogs" anywhere in their line. I know someone who has a person impulse 7.5. It was quite fast and still had a nice, woody feel. I had a diablo senso and it was pretty nice. I have a darker aquablade which is an awesome all wood. I think the center carbon is hands and feet above anything I've ever used. It doesn't feel like carbon at all because the single layer is buried like 4mm from either side. It doesn't bother your touch shots at all. The only disadvantage with that blade is the price. It retails for $119! Worth every penny though. There may be some independent dealers who will sell it cheaper. I got a backup for $80. |
