be careful swedish defender-this rubber might be too tacky for mid distance, nevertheless what manufacturer says. when you use softer sponge on the same surface rubber it reduces speed, gives better grip making it easier to execute spins-this is good, but at the same time gives yet more spin which is not always good for mid distance game because the ball tends to be more curved and it is more likely to end in the net. however, if you prefer high-arc spins with more up motion this can be ok.

tackifire drive could be interesting choice for mid distance play
