I don't remember cooking anything for 10 minutes in a microwave. A hot dog explodes after 1 minute. A cup of water is piping hot after 2 minutes. You might release some really bad fumes from the melted rubber and glue if you microwave your racket.

If sweat on the handle is a problem, simply cover it with a grip bandage or seal it with urethane laquer.
