To block close to the table, Hallmark and Dr Neubauer LPs seem to be the best. Tibhar Grass Devil, Palio CK 531A and TSP Curl Bamboo are also very efficient. To play defense (far from the table), BTY Feint Long II and III seem to be the most used (in Europe anyway). I don't know any defender in the ITTF Top 200 that plays without sponge. Matsush*ita uses a 0.5 mm sponge under his FL II, and for the others it's between 1.0 and 1.5 mm. |
