After changing blades/rubbers a few times I've settled on the T8 blade for now. At the beginning I didn't like the sound when I smacked a ball...it sounded like the ball was broken! But after I got used to it, it was fine. Speed is very good, and you can still have some decent control as well. Depending on your rubbers as well of course, you should be able to generate enough ooomph with this blade from mid-range.
