No, Ma Lin always uses both forehand and backhand rubbers, WH's style is considered revolutionary, because he totally gives up the traditional penholding pushes.

As long as thrid ball attack, this has nothing to do with their backhand styles, Ma Lin has a relatively stronger forehand than Wang Hao. That is one short coming for WH, he relies on his backhand too much so that his forehand is not as strong as most pen-holding players.

IMHO, Koren players have the strongest forehand for pen-holding players.
