I have a BTY Matsushita Special and really like it, quite a few other defenders on other forums have bought it, and all seemed to really like it. However the older model The Matsushita Pro is also very good but slower and much cheaper and if you're more of a pure defender than I would get that.....

Of all the forums I've read I only ever hear of those two plus the Joo Se Hyuk blade ever being mentioned as recomended blades for defenders......I know Friendship will be introducing some very cheap blades for defenders soon, so it may be worth waiting for those before you decide....

What is your playing style exactly?
