i've seen spin players with all the srivers but at my opinion, sriver is not primarily for spin because it requires more player sensitivity for ball touch.

depends how succesfuly you can hit spins with the sriver. if you can, then you should have it because of all of the advantages sriver has (drive, great for mid distance countering for example). you should try spining with borrowed sriver to be certain.

if you need more speed, the option also is to use faster blade with same rubber. could be easier to adapt also
