Yes after you speed glue, the effects really stabilise after 30 mins to one hour, and is then good to play for prob 3-4 hours,then the effect diminishes quickly. Some speed glues claim to work for several days, but they are usually rubbish, and some rubbers claim to have the speed glue effect built in, but dont waste your time on these either.....

After you've speed glued and played your games, rip the rubber off the blade. The rubber stretches as it is speed glued, and this puts a lot of stress on the rubber. This should be minimised.
You see a lot of tournament players, where the tournament lasts for many hours, ripping and regluing several times a day.
