I got some rubber cement from Home Depot. Got a couple of layers on the blade and rubbers. A couple of days later, the rubbers shrunk about 2/32 to 3/32 around the edges. Is this typical?

I tried Best-Test paper cement that I got from Michaels, but that didn't stick well. Couldn't find any Best-Test "RUBBER" cement from any local stores. Shipping cost is high for online orders.

Is Best-Test rubber cement in the yellow/white can the best one to use? What about Best-Test One Coat?
