| I think scalpel is a good alrounder. You can chop comfortably away from the table and the ball stays low, and the effect from blocking is pronounced. I have seen genuine fear from opponents and somebody has even given up after 4 points into the 2nd game! But where I struggle is that it is slow (in the OX I play) and therefore in games where players lift passively to my backhand LP's I struggle to take the initiative. I struggle to twiddle, which would help me get out of this predicament! Hence going for a quicker blade in the Hallmark Cmb Ultra - which I have now ordered! |
