Hi Thomas, I've been using the yasaka balsa for the past month with Mark V GPS 2.0
on both sides. This is a good combination for control, I think. The balsa is *very* light, which I like, but other players who've tried it don't. It also makes a hollow thwok sound which at first was noticeable to the point of being distracting. However, once the rubber had been glued several times and was nice and soft this sound was muted. Overall, I like it a lot.
