In my experience, flexible blades tend to throw higher (all else being equal) than stiff blades.

Also, Carbon blades tend to throw higher than equivalent all-wood blades.

I suppose that a relatively soft (flex) carbon blade (Donic Waldner Snso Carbon perhaps?) would be very high throw. I've never used one (soft carbon blade) though...
