I can provide some background comments: sold over circa 1967 to 1997;sells for $300 to $600; speed is faster as moisture has decreased in the wood over time. I held one last night as did other players to state the feel is great. Paul Pinkerwich, tabletennisworld.com.au, uses it in international Veterans Association matches. He also played with Kjell in Sweden circa 1970. Paul is an expert on old and new bats. There are four standards shown on handle labels being blue, green, red, and gold. The first two are beginners mainly based on the rubber. I would get any of them if I could get one for the blade.
