If your mostly chopping and flat-killing, chinese rubber is cheap and as good or better than anything. I used to sell a lot of PF4-1 to choppers. They tell me that was the best chopping rubber ever. I don't think that's around anymore. I've been selling stuff like 729fx since we lost the pf4. Whatever you get, make it sticky and get it on a thin sponge...max of 1.5.

Others buy stuff like tackiness chop or thin tackfire, but why spend $30 on a rubber that imitates a $10 sheet of chinese?

With the 40mm ball, even defenders don't use defensive blades anymore. They tend to go for all+ blades with large heads. This helps them to chop from a distance and to generate the surprise attack.

Also, some choppers like pips. I wouldn't use long pips on the fh, and since you're attacking with the backhand, maybe consider something like friendship 802 on 1.5 sponge. Worked great for Ding Song!
