The only thing tennis and table tennis have in common is the word tennis. The techniques involved in playing the two sports is completely different. Great tennis players do not make great table tennis players and vice versa . If I want to find out about tennis , I will visit a tennis web site , if I visit a table tennis web site I expect to be reading about table tennis.
