What I was looking for was a spinny rubber that had a bit more zip than T Extreme. EL has definately more zip. I know that playing under different conditions makes a big difference to how a rubber behaves. So I will keep trying it. I'm playing this evening so will have a better idea. Also different players technic makes a big difference to how they see a rubber. I'm sure any pro could play with anything within reason and not notice to much of a difference. I rely on my backhand loop to open up rallies so need something that gives me a weapon, the problem is if I use anything to fast like Mark V I have problem with control with shots like blocks and pushes. All this is just experimenting anyway, I used short pips for 5 years and it took me at least 18 months before I found what I was looking for. Going back to spinny rubber is just for fun anyway but I do need to do it well. |
