I really don't know how you can say it's not spinny. It's not the stickiest chinese rubber, but it's pretty sticky, and it's softer than most sticky rubbers. It's probably the best serving rubber out there and it pushes well with a lot of backspin. It supports the chinese serve/push/attack game but also allows for a decent loop. I think the versatility is what attracts people to the rubber.

Because of the consistency of the magic red sponge it doesn't have to have glue, although I prefer it glued still.
