I have been using Viscaria for more than a year now. Excellent blade for looping, since it's soft feel, unlike VSG2000 (which I used to play with for a while). I use it with Bryce, but any fast and spinny rubber on this blade is good for looping style play. Note: the top layer of wood is very soft and thin and gets damaged easily if one is not careful when one reglues; I had my second blade surface treated with a varnish, which solves that problem, but now the blade has a harder characteristic somewhat similar to the VSG (with noticably shorter dwell time). Precision (and speed) of my smash improved, but my bh loop suffered - slowly getting it back ... had to adjust quite a bit |
