You can apply a layer of glue or some sort of thinner like heptane, which will soften up the existing glue. Then you can easily roll it off with your hands. The key is to get the consistancy of the glue to the point where it's not too hard where it'll pull out sponge, and not too thin where all you'll be doing is spreading the glue around. You'll get it after a few tries. |
