the reason why there are many and not one fixed position in looping is that a learned looper has already the "feel" for the movement, that's why they can deliver it even in awkward position.but since you are a beginner, i advise you to learn the proper body position and the swing and form for this movement.i have posted here already a nearly vivid description of this movement;happy practice!
