First thing you notice with Energy and also with Carbon is how thin it is. This has put the fair chackers off trying it. It really is watery when compaired to FC or to FC Light even. I find they both work well and the carbon gives a really nice sound when used with sound rubbers but... They dont stick too well. You need a Clicky Press to get them to stay down. It may be the case that the glue doesnt peel off very well either but that could be Stiga sound rubbers rather than the glue. Either way Energy/Carbon and sound rubbers dont peel well. Why the small brush in the Carbon tin? Because the tin is so tall. Why make a tin so tall that easily falls over when the brush size stays the same. Why change from FC? |
