Blue sponges could be the older blue that you could scrub a dirty pan with, or it could have been hrs blue. The old one was like what's under pf4. Hard but slow.

Hrs blue is similar but a little softer. I had some "pro" wangnan from the nat team tom gave me that was on a sponge marked "special hrs blue" with a hand stamp.

But it might have been something like pf4 or an old sticky 729.
