I have a lot of experience with 563 and 837, but not 563-1. I don't think it is much different than 563. I think what is more important than the 563 or 563-1 top sheet is what sponge you put the top sheet on. If you want reversal with 563 you will want to use a 1.0 sponge. The standard medium orange sponge is too soft to produce much reversal in a 1.5 thickness. 563 does not reward passive play like 837 or other long pips. When I play 563 I try to attack as many balls with my backhand as possible. With 563 once you get dialed in you can attack almost any ball higher than the net, no matter how spinny.

837 produces a much funnier ball while still retaining good attack potential. When I play 837, I play more passively on the back hand side waiting for a loose ball then usually step around and put it away with the forehand.

If you want to attack a lot of balls with you backhand choose 563. If you play a more passive backhand choose 837 or 755.
